In contrast to the previous album "Here," which reached number 10 in the UK charts and was a model of guitar pop, this album is based on Scottish-style twisted melodies and beautiful harmonies, but with a softer and rougher finish. You can also feel a slightly psychedelic element, which means it smells strongly of US West Coast bands like Neil Young & Crazy Horse, whom they admire.
