1934C five dollar vintage silver certificate with large blue seal.

1934 is a significant date because it is the first year the Silver Certificate was introduced into US currency circulation.

This 1934 silver certificate was issued during the Great Depression. It was the first series to feature the smaller, modern size and could be exchanged for their face value in silver dollars at local banks or bullion at a U.S. Treasury. This practice continued until 1968.

The high price of silver led to the notes being abolished in 1963, with millions being redeemed and destroyed making any surviving bills quite valuable.

A true collector's item; it is very valuable due to its historical significance and collectible status.

This is a beautiful bill and in very good condition for being over 90 years old (see pictures).

You will receive the exact item pictured. Serial number M52242559A.
